Everest 2 Pan_2009 470 Mt.Everest

View Everest and the surrounding Himalaya from favourite Sherpa viewpoints in the spectacular Thame and Gokyo Valleys. From jagged, snow-capped peaks, to Nepal’s largest glacier pouring down from the flanks of Mt Cho Oyu (8018m). Flying into Lukla we hike up to the Sherpa Capital of Namche Bazaar, visit the Hillary Hospital and Schools in the nearby villages of Kunde and Khumjung . Then we turn off the tourist trail and into the stunning Gokyo Valley – flanked by soaring peaks and turquoise lakes we will go to the some of the best and least visited Everest viewpoints in the Khumbu. We will then cross the beautiful Renjo La Pass and visit the monasteries of Thame, looking up to the still used Tibetan trading route of the Nangpa La (Pass).
This walk is designed to take you to some of the most incredible mountain scenery in the world, with the time to acclimatise safely and to be able to stop, absorb the view and take your photos. You will be accompanied by both highly experienced local Sherpa guides and an Australian guide/doctor.
